Best shopping street in shanghai -shanghai tour guide and shopping assistant :)
Shanghai is a "shopping paradise"! When outsiders and foreigners come to Shanghai, they would invariably like to stroll along its main streets and roads, looking for Shanghai-made things and buy some of those commodities with special Shanghai flavor to be brought back when they return home as souvenirs, keepsakes or gifts for their relatives and friends. Products are of great quality and come for a good price. Nevertheless, in high class boutiques, you will not find bargains on high fashions and imports.

Raffles City
268 Xi Zhang Middle Road
I used to work there (the office building behind the Raffles City). It has Singapore flavor (as implied from the name and Capital Land, the developer).

This is maybe the headquarter building for American companies. The Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel is in the middle tower, and office buildings on the west and east wings, and many shops and airlines on the lower shopping mall. Australia visa office is also there. They have nice acrobatic show in the Theater.
Super Brand Mall
168 Lujiazui West Road

Times Square - Pudong
500 Zhangyang Road
Times Square - Puxi
149 Huaihai Road

The flagship for fashion cloths. It has the reputation to be one of the most expensive cloth shopping malls in Shanghai.

Note the fine carvings on the roof as you enter the main hall, dedicated to Huo Guang, a Han dynasty general, flanked by rows of effigies representing both martial and civil virtues. Exit the hall north and peek into the multi-faith hall on your right dedicated to three female deities, Guanyin (Buddhist), Tianhou (Taoist) and Yanmu Niangniang (Taoist). It starts from the Baidu Bridge, which is at the connecting point of the Huangpu River and the Suzhou Creek, to the East Jinling Road and winds a 1500 meters (less than one mile) length. Walking along the Bund, which is at the west shore of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower can be seen on the opposite side and also the Jin Mao Tower.Being one of the Top Ten Shanghai Attractions, the Bund is a really beautiful and special place which is worth visiting. The newly-built Flood Control Bank takes the function of preventing the oversize flood; the square with the statue of Marshal Chen Yi is an open air podium which gives new views of the Shanghai Plaza Culture; the Cenotaph which stands on the man-made island is a monument of people's heroes; the riverside greenbelt, the Electronic Waterfall Bell, and the Great Mural Carving are all representatives of the Bund.
7>Temple of the Town Gods 城隍庙
The Temple of the Town God in Shanghai was founded in 1403 to honor local official Qín Yùbó, who had been designated Shanghai's patron god by the Míng Hóngwu emperor (1328-98). It didn't take on its present name until 1929. Gazing fiercely over offerings of fruit from the rear hall is the red-faced, bearded Town God himself.
8>Jin Mao Tower 金茂大厦
Being the third tallest building of the world and the tallest building in China, Jin Mao Tower is located in the center of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Districts in Pudong. Jin Mao Tower can be conveniently accessed from either Puxi (the area west of the Hungpu River) by taking the tunnel (travel time is about two minutes) or the Hongqiao and Pudong International Airports (travel time is about 30 minutes) by car.The 88-stories Jin Mao Tower was completed in 1999. It is 420.5 meters (almost 1380 feet) tall and covers an area of 2.3 hectares (5.68 acres). The architect, Adrian D. Smith, of this skyscraper ingeniously combined the elements of traditional Chinese culture with the newest architectural styles of the time, which makes Jin Mao Tower one of the best-constructed buildings in China.
9>Oriental Pearl TV Tower 东方明珠电视塔
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower, surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The entire scene is a photographic jewel that excites the imagination and attracts thousands of visitors year-round.This 468 meters high (1,536 feet) tower is the world's third tallest TV and radio tower surpassed in height only by towers in Toronto, Canada and Moscow, Russia. However, even more alluring than its height is the tower's unique architectural design that makes the Oriental Pearl TV Tower one of the most attractive places anywhere.
10Jade Buddha Temple 玉佛寺
In the western part of Shanghai, a very modern and flourishing city, there is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple, Jade Buddha Temple. In 1882, an old temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. The temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Fortunately the jade Buddha statues were saved and a new temple was built on the present site in 1928. It was named the Jade Buddha Temple.
