Located at 85 Yuyuan Lu (豫园路) in the famous Yuyuan Garden of old part of Shanghai, the dumpling shop nemed Nanxiang（南翔） in traditional Chinese decoration is renowned throughout China and has a good name among foreign tourists. As the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is about to open on May 1st, the dumpling restaurant will be one of the Shanghai cuisine attractions. The dumplings' skins are thin that they can be a little bit transparent with juicy fresh pork and vegetables as stuffing. Have a bowl of pumpkin congee and a green vegetable dish might be an excellent choice.
Sometimes being nicknamed Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) locally, is welcomed by Shanghaineses so that the Nanxiang Small Dumpling restaurant is often crowded, especially during weekends and Chinese official holidays. Be mentally prepared to be queuing a while for ordering your meal!
